Cognitive changes such as difficulties with memory, concentration, and organization are common after transplant and CAR T-cell therapy.

Her research focuses on improving outcomes for patients with hematologic cancers undergoing stem cell transplantation or CAR T-cell therapy. She studies patient-reported and cognitive outcomes and develops psychological and behavioral interventions designed to improve quality of life for both patients and care partners.
